Jivelo.com is an online review service that allows our members to set up unique user profiles and write personal stories (experiences) about themselves or other people. Jivelo members can view each others\' stories, communicate with other members and meet new friends on the service, share stories, post stories and comments, and vote on the stories. Jivelo members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members and the service communicates with them.

Information Collection and Use by Jivelo.com

Jivelo does not share personal information we learn about you from your use of Jivelo.com, products and services with others except as described in this policy.

When you provide personal information through using Jivelo you are however sharing your personal information with Jivelo and its affiliated entities. The use of your personal information by these organizations is subject to this policy.

Jivelo collects personal information when you register with us, use Jivelo products or services or post content on a Jivelo weblog (experiences) page.

User Profile information including members\' pictures, avatars, location and weblogs (experiences) may be displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Jivelo.com social review community. Jivelo will only display your “NickName” on your user profile. Users\' full names and email addresses are NEVER directly revealed to other members. Email addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Jivelo, to add users to members\' friends\' networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user\'s email address is not shared or displayed to people on Jivelo.com. Users communicate on Jivelo.com with each other through the Jivelo.com service, without disclosing their email addresses or full names. To facilitate searching and finding stories on the service, Jivelo.com allows users to search for stories using data collected from the written weblog (experiences), tags and comments. Email addresses and first names are used when a user invites a friend via email to join Jivelo.com.

We may also use a user\'s email address to send updates, a newsletter or news regarding the service. Users may choose not to receive email of this type by changing their "notification" setting to "Do not send me notification emails" in the user "Account Settings". From time to time, Jivelo.com or a partner, may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake, survey or contest on Jivelo.com. Jivelo.com may then collect personal information when you enter into such promotions or sweepstakes. We may transfer personal information to certain ad partners that you have explicitly requested to receive information from. It will be clear at the point of collection who is collecting the personal information and whose privacy statement will apply.

Information Relating to Children

Users under the age of 13 are prohibited from using Jivelo.com.

Invitations and Other Communications to Non-members

Jivelo members can invite friends to join the service by sending invitation emails via our automated invitation system. Jivelo.com stores the email addresses that members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend\'s list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations Jivelo.com does not sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations, invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from Jivelo.com may contact Jivelo.com to request the removal of their information from our database.

Use of Cookies

Jivelo.com uses cookies to store visitors\' preferences and to record session information, for purposes including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same advertisements and to customize newsletter, advertising, and Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. Correcting/Updating or Removing Information

Jivelo.com users may modify or remove any of your personal information at any time by logging into your account and accessing features such as Weblogs (experiences) Edit Profile and Account Info.

Third Party Advertising
