Hello, The Jivelo Team wants you to have crazy fun on Jivelo.com. We have tons of users writing experiences and interacting with each other every day. The majority play by the rules but you may find a few creeps spoiling the fun. The following are our recommended guidelines for how to use your Jivelo account in a way that is fair and considerate to everyone.

Don\'t forget that your experiences (stories) are public spaces.You alone are responsible for the content you post. What you post publicly can be read by anyone viewing your experiences. Don\'t post anything you wouldn\'t want the world to know (e.g., other peoples’ names, phone numbers, address, email addresses).

Anonymity. When posting your experience you can decide to display your nickname or not with the experience. If you don’t want anyone to know who posted the experience or to see your nickname or link through to your user profile, choose the privacy setting: “No one”.

Be cool. When writing your experiences be as clever, funny or wicked as you want but don’t be a malicious jerk. Whatever happened in the past be cool about it, tell it like it is and relish in the fact that what doesn’t kill you makes stronger and better. (Or smarter)

Whenever you create an experience, other members can comment on it. If someone leaves a comment that bugs you, just delete it. For increased satisfaction, roll your eyes while doing so.

Cyberstalking/cyberharassing results in automatic deletion of the offender\'s account. Internet predators, false impersonators, and cyber-bullies are creepy and are not welcome on Jivelo.com.

Content. We reserve the right to remove any content that isn\'t appropriate for our community.

Password. We will never ask you for your password, email address or other personal information. No one at Jivelo.com will. If somebody contacts you claiming to be from Jivelo.com, do NOT give them any sensitive information. If you have any doubts, send us an email.

Pornstars. If we find pornographic pictures on your Jivelo user profile, we will delete it along with your account.

Other dos and don\'ts

Any material that exploits children is illegal and will not be tolerated. If a member posts any material of this nature, their account will automatically be deleted and proper authorities will be contacted. Exploitation of minors, or anyone for that matter, is a serious crime, and will be treated as such.

Expressions of racism, bigotry, hatred, and abuse may be constitutionally protected on the streets, but we have no obligation to protect them on Jivelo.com. These things are uncool and people who post them are not welcome here.

Advertising and commercial solicitation by our members is not permitted in any way shape or form. If we see ads other than our own, we\'ll take them down asap.
